Joe Wilson, a U.S. Congressman representing South Carolina's 2nd district since 2001, recently shared his views on international relations through a series of tweets. Wilson, who has been vocal about his stance on foreign policy issues, addressed concerns involving Russia, Iran, and China in these posts.

On March 6, 2025, Joe Wilson expressed concerns about the relationship between Russia and terrorist groups. He stated that "Terrorist Houthi leaders have worked with Russia to recruit Yemeni civilians under false pretenses to fight for Russia in Ukraine." Wilson further accused Russia of being a state sponsor of terrorism due to its alleged involvement with such groups.

Later the same day, Wilson criticized an existing waiver policy concerning Iraq's energy purchases from Iran. He described it as "a COMPLETE DISASTER" and insisted that it must end "COMPLETELY and PERMANENTLY."

In another tweet posted on March 6, 2025, Wilson highlighted China's financial connections with several countries and organizations. He asserted that "China funds Russia China funds Iran China funds Houthis" and posed the question of who else might be funded by China. He concluded with a reference to former President Trump as someone who could address these issues.
