On February 4, 2025, Joe Wilson expressed support for Mzia Amaghlobeli with a brief statement: "Free Mzia Amaghlobeli".

Later that day, Wilson commented on former President Donald Trump's efforts and international tensions involving Iran and Russia. He stated: "Donald Trump is delivering on his promises. Sadly, the regime in Tehran is defiant having sent assassins to murder Trump as War Criminal Putin has ignored peace initiatives with record rocket attacks on civilians in Ukraine."

In another post on the same day, Wilson addressed energy-related geopolitical issues by warning of impending sanctions. He tweeted: "Dirty Russian Oil Dirty Iranian Oil Sanctions Are Coming".
