Joe Wilson, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina's 2nd District since 2001, shared his thoughts on current international and religious events through a series of tweets. On April 19, 2025, Wilson expressed his condemnation of Vladimir Putin's actions, describing him as a "war criminal." He emphasized the severity of Putin's actions by mentioning recent bombings: "War criminal Putin reminds us of his complete and utter depravity and disdain for human life by bombing playgrounds, Christian bakeries, and declaring a fake Easter ceasefire while continuing an invasion HE started and could end today."

On April 20, 2025, Wilson shared a religious message quoting 1 Corinthians 6:14 and extended Easter wishes: “By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also.” Wishing you and your family a blessed Easter.
