Joe Wilson, a U.S. Congressman representing South Carolina’s 2nd district since 2001, has recently shared several updates on social media regarding his legislative initiatives and diplomatic engagements. The posts reflect his ongoing involvement in international relations and national security matters.

On February 13, 2025, Joe Wilson announced via social media that he is working on drafting the Pakistan Democracy Act. He stated, "I am grateful to share that I am drafting the PAKISTAN DEMOCRACY ACT to ban from the United States those in the Pakistan military government responsible for the wrongful persecution and imprisonment of Imran Khan."

Later that day, Wilson met with Ambassador Reema Bandar Al Saud of Saudi Arabia. He expressed appreciation for the meeting by saying, "Grateful to meet with her excellency Ambassador @rbalsaud of Saudi Arabia! The U.S.-Saudi partnership is critical for the future of Free Syria and to counter War Criminal Putin and the Iranian regime." He further emphasized Saudi Arabia's role as a stabilizing force in the Middle East.

In another post dated February 13, 2025, Wilson commented on statements made by Iraqi Army Chief Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah regarding Abu Mahdi Muhandis. Wilson highlighted Yarallah's remarks by quoting him: "Iraqi Army Chief Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah said designated terrorist & Iraqi Hezbollah leader Abu Mahdi Muhandis 'is our brother, leader, supporter and backer.'" He criticized this stance by suggesting that "The Iraq Army = Iranian puppets."
