On February 12, 2025, Joe Wilson announced the introduction of the United States-Israel Defense Partnership Act as HR 1229. He stated that this legislation aims to enhance bilateral defense cooperation in areas such as unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, and quantum technologies. Wilson emphasized the importance of collaboration to ensure the safety of American families. "Grateful to introduce the United States-Israel Defense Partnership Act as HR 1229. This critical legislation will deepen our bilateral defense cooperation to counter unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, and quantum. We must work together to protect American families!"

Later that day, Wilson expressed his support for President Trump's efforts in negotiating an end to ongoing conflicts responsibly. He advocated for providing Trump with maximum leverage by preparing comprehensive sanctions on Russia and equipping Ukraine with necessary arms swiftly. "President Trump is an expert negotiator who knows the Art of the Deal. I am grateful that he is working hard to end the war responsibly. We must provide him with maximum leverage by preparing comprehensive sanctions on Russia and providing authorities to quickly arm Ukraine."

In another tweet posted on February 12, 2025, Wilson referred to Russian President Vladimir Putin as a "War Criminal," asserting that negotiations occur only under pressure. He called for maximum support for Ukraine and pressure on Russia to achieve a fair resolution based on a full land swap agreement. "War Criminal Putin only negotiates when he is forced to. Ukraine is fighting for the free world. Maximum support for Ukraine + maximum pressure on Russia can end war responsibly in FAIR DEAL based on FULL land swap."
