Joe Wilson, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina's 2nd district, shared his views and concerns via social media on pressing international matters. Wilson, who has been a Congress member since 2001, has made statements recently about events affecting Thailand, Burma, Ukraine, and Georgia.

On March 28, Joe Wilson expressed his sympathies regarding a natural disaster, stating, "My deepest condolences to the people of Thailand and Burma as they are impacted by a significant earthquake".

Shifting focus to geopolitical conflict, on March 29, Wilson made a critical assertion about the situation in Ukraine, condemning actions attributed to Vladimir Putin. He stated, "War criminal Putin sadistically firebombed families on the Dnipro riverfront using Shahed suicide drones co-produced with his top ally, the terrorist regime in Tehran. The footage is apocalyptic and excruciating. Putin does not want peace."

Later that day, Wilson addressed political upheaval in Georgia, calling for the release of a political figure, "Key Georgian opposition leader Elene Khoshtaria has been wrongfully detained by the cowardly anti-American Ivanishvili regime. She and ALL political prisoners must be IMMEDIATELY released. Free and fair elections are the ONLY way forward".
