On February 5, 2025, Joe Wilson shared his apprehension regarding the appointment of a new U.S. Ambassador by Keir Starmer. He stated: "I am extremely concerned by @keir_starmer choice for the new US Ambassador. I look forward to his justifications".

Later that day, Wilson responded to communication from Fatma Msebbi, a member of what he referred to as the "Fake Tunisian Parliament." In his tweet dated February 5, 2025, he urged her to distance herself from the current regime: "Fatma—leave this regime while you can or risk sanctions!! It will fall like Assad."

In another post made on February 6, 2025, Wilson criticized South African President Cyril Ramaphosa for aligning with anti-American sentiments. He expressed gratitude towards the administration's firm stance against such alignments: "South African President @CyrilRamaphosa aligns himself with the haters of America and democracy. I am grateful the administration is taking a strong stand against these dictator debate society meetings."
