Joe Wilson, a U.S. Congressman representing South Carolina's 2nd district since 2001, has recently shared his views on international relations and national security through a series of tweets. Wilson, who also serves as Co-Chair of the UK Caucus, has been vocal about America's foreign aid policies and the threats posed by certain groups in the Middle East.

On February 3, 2025, Joe Wilson tweeted about U.S. financial aid to Tunisia in 2023. He stated: "In 2023, America provided $167.2 million in aid to Tunisia a police state dictatorship. Tunisia’s tyrant returned the favor by cozying up to the CCP." This tweet highlights his concerns regarding Tunisia's political alignment with China.

Later that day, he addressed issues related to Badr Organization with another tweet: "Badr attacked our Embassy & killed Americans They have an ideology similar to ISIS if not more radical They are armed, trained and funded by the IRGC in Iran They have taken over Iraq & dismantled its democracy It’s time to DESIGNATE BADR as terrorists". In this post from February 3, 2025, Wilson called for Badr to be designated as a terrorist organization due to their actions and affiliations.

In another tweet on February 3, 2025, Wilson expressed gratitude for his role as Co-Chair of the UK Caucus: "I have been grateful to work together as Co-Chair of the UK Caucus over the last five years. Thank you for your dedication to the special relationship." This message underscores his commitment to maintaining strong ties between the United States and the United Kingdom.
