Joe Wilson, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina's 2nd district, has recently shared his views on various international issues through a series of tweets. These posts highlight his concerns regarding foreign aid, European Union sanctions, and political imprisonment in Pakistan.

On February 2, 2025, Wilson expressed discontent with the allocation of taxpayer money to certain foreign governments. He stated that his "taxpaying constituents in South Carolina work hard for their money yet it is sent to anti-American dictators & terrorists in Tunisia, Iraq, and even Communist China." Later on the same day, Wilson called for action from the European Union against Bidzina Ivanishvili and associates whom he accused of election rigging and suppressing Georgian citizens.
