Join us for this year’s Storm Water Awareness Week event (September 26-30 2022), where we will be discussing how stormwater doesn’t just affect the immediate area but also affects ocean life and water quality. We’re going to be taking a look at unique challenges industrial facilities, municipalities, and construction projects have, especially near places where the river meets the sea. But, don’t worry, if you are nowhere near an ocean or a river, this event will still be applicable to you! While our keynotes will focus on coastal concerns, our workshops will be covering a wide variety of stormwater-related topics.
The City of Aiken has collaborated with Aiken County, Keep Aiken County Beautiful, and CSRA Stormwater Alliance to bring the communities an outreach and educational Stormwater Awareness Week.! It’s free, it’s easy, and it’s a whole lot of fun!
There’s something for everyone! Whether you are brand new to stormwater or whether you are a stormwater veteran, Storm Water Awareness Week is for you! It’s an event put on by stormwater professionals for stormwater professionals and covers a wide variety of stormwater-related topics.
