SC US House District 2 issued the following announcement on September 9.
On September 9, Congressman Joe Wilson issued the following statement:
“Biden has shown time and time again that he is failing American families. His mishandling of the pandemic is just another example and I am not at all confident that today’s announced redirection will help in this time of need. I commend Vice President Pence’s Operation Warp Speed for putting this country on the road to recovery, but it has been disappointing to see the current administration derail that success.
“As for a specific point Biden made on mandating vaccinations, the government should not be mandating vaccines for private companies. Private companies should be able to make this decision for themselves. It is also important to have waivers in place for medical and religious reasons.”
