City of Aiken issued the following announcement on July 17.
Engineering and Utilities Department is working to repair a water main on Old Jordan Road. Some residents in the vicinity of this repair will experience an interruption to water service. Once the issue has been resolved and water is restored, a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect for approximately 24 hours
