Joe Wilson, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina's 2nd district, has recently shared several updates via social media. Wilson, who succeeded Floyd Spence in 2001 and has been active in politics since serving in the South Carolina Senate from 1985 to 2001, took to Twitter to express his views on various topics.

On December 11, 2024, Joe Wilson tweeted about his vote for the passage of the FY25 National Defense Authorization Act. He highlighted that this bipartisan legislation includes significant provisions for South Carolina, particularly its military bases and the Savannah River Site's critical missions.
