The Congressman, who has been in office since replacing Floyd Spence in 2001, shared his views on international and national matters through his official Twitter account.

On December 9, 2024, Joe Wilson expressed his participation in a discussion on Fox News about the situation in Syria. He tweeted: "Last Night, I joined Fox News to discuss the newly #FreeSyria https://t.co/JeJjCYntou".

Later that day, Wilson commented on the fiscal year 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). In his tweet, he stated: "I am grateful that the FY25 NDAA fully supports and requires plutonium pit production at the Savannah River Site and Los Alamos National Laboratory. It is clear that the NNSA must do everything possible to expedite this vital capability as quickly as possible and without delay."

On December 11, 2024, Wilson announced a collaborative effort with Representative Brendan Boyle. They sent a letter addressing Syria sanctions to high-ranking officials.
