City of Aiken Engineering & Utilities Department issued the following announcement on July 16.
UPDATE 2:47 PM Water has been restored to Park Ave SE and Timber Lane Rd. A Boil Water Advisory is in effect.
UPDATE 1:30 PM The City of Aiken Engineering and Utilities Department has the water main located at the intersection of Park Ave SE and Timber Lane Rd turned off to make repairs.
Crews are on-site and will update once all work is complete and water service restored to normal.
Once water service is restored, a Boiled Water Advisory will be in place and boiled water notices will be handed out to residents.
