Joe Wilson, a member of the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina’s 2nd district, has recently expressed his views on international political matters through a series of tweets. These posts reflect his stance on issues concerning Georgia's elections, Russian oil revenue, and the geopolitical dynamics involving Iraq and Iran.

On January 24, 2025, Joe Wilson conveyed his support for President Emmanuel Macron hosting Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili following her attendance at Donald Trump's inauguration. Wilson emphasized the importance of free and fair elections in Georgia, stating: "Grateful to see President @EmmanuelMacron host President @Zourabichvili_S right after she attended the inauguration of President @realDonaldTrump. France and America stand with the Georgian people. The only way forward for Georgia is free and fair elections!"

Later that day, Wilson addressed the issue of Russia's oil revenue under Vladimir Putin's leadership. He criticized President Biden's approach and supported Donald Trump's strategy by tweeting: "President @realDonaldTrump is right—We must starve War Criminal Putin of oil revenue, which is the only thing keeping the Russian war machine afloat. Biden failed to do this. Trump will fix it."

In another brief statement on January 24, 2025, Wilson succinctly called for action regarding Iran's influence over Iraq with a tweet that read: "Free Iraq from Iran".
