“Over the past few years, we have experienced staffing shortages, as has the rest of the healthcare industry. To retain our healthcare professionals and attract additional candidates, we’re listening to feedback from our care teams and focusing on preserving their passion for patient care,” said Jim O’Loughlin, Chief Executive Officer at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. “By offering regularly scheduled job fairs, our goal is to make it easier for qualified individuals to secure a position on our team, while strengthening our workforce. Job fairs can provide a less intimidating interview experience for prospective candidates to meet with our hiring teams, and hopefully secure a new career.”
“Our overall goal is to provide safe patient care,” said Bridget Denzik, Chief Nursing Officer at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. “With the hiring of additional nursing team members, registered nurses (RNs) and care team techs (CTTs), we’re able to maintain this commitment and strive to retain skilled and dedicated nursing teams, which in turn benefits the health of our community.”
