University of South Carolina-Aiken: The Etherredge Center Presents Artist Naomi Falk

Aiken, SC (01/24/2022) — The Etherredge Center at the University of South Carolina Aiken presents its next Carolina Series artist, Naomi Falk. Falk's exhibit, "A Moment from Now," will be on display at the Etherredge Center, located at 350 Scholar Loop, February 7 - March 11. Admission is free is open to the public.

"A Moment from Now" explores the ability to find new purpose for recycled and reclaimed objects. Falk's work considers humanity's relationships with manufactured and natural landscapes, exploring the current climate socially, environmentally, and politically.

She has exhibited at regional and national venues such as the Maryland Federation of Art in Annapolis, MD; VAE Raleigh; ATHICA in Athens, GA; and Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area in Rankin, PA. She has also done residences in Germany, Iceland, New York, Vermont, the Faroe Islands, and most recently at the Hambidge Center. Falk is currently an assistant professor of studio art in 3D studies at the University of South Carolina.
