ACPSD CELEBRATES READ ACROSS AMERICA WEEK

Jefferson Elementary School's Read Across America Week was packed with literary fun! The school celebrated with special dress up days, guest readers, the Book Fair, and many engaging activities. Students and staff dressed up for Idiom/Vocabulary Day, Superhero Day, Pajama Day, Tacky Tourist Day, and Book Character Day, which included a Book Character Parade!

Thank you to all of the guest readers which included Miss Midland Valley High School and former JES student, Bella Boyso, Juanita Campbell, curator at the Aiken African American History Museum, "Dub" from Kicks Wake Up Crew, and Ms. Kaune's mom, Ellison Weist.
