City of Greenwood issued the following announcement on December 28.
City of Greenwood offices will be closed on Friday, December 31st, in observance of New Year’s Day. All emergency services will operate on a normal schedule. The City of Greenwood will NOT collect residential sanitation on Friday, December 31st. Makeup day will be Wednesday, December 29th. In addition, Greenwood County will NOT collect recycling on Friday, December 31st. Make up day will be Thursday, December 30th.
Both Landfill and all Convenience Centers will be CLOSED on Saturday, January 1st.
