Edgefield County Library: Hop into Save the Children’s 100 Days of Reading to win movies at participating locations!

Edgefield County Library issued the following announcement on July 20.

Save the Children is partnering with the Barnwell, Blackville, Williston, Wagener, Denmark, and Bamberg Libraries to encourage reading in rural communities. Hop into their 100 Days of  Summer Reading! Read 20 minutes for 10 days before September 1st, 2021 and win a grab bag of five Disney movies donated by Save the Children. Pick up a the reading sheet at one of the participating locations or print it out: Savethechildrenreading

Possible titles in a combination of Blue Rays and DVDs are:

Big Hero 6, Cars 2, Cinderella, G-Force, Good Dinosaur, Jungle Book, Lion King, Monster University, Peter Pan, Pixar Short Films 2, Princess Diaries, Pixar Short Films Collection

Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Toy Story, Toy Story 3, Wreck it Ralph, Finding Dory, Frozen,

Ice Princess, Incredibles, Inside Out, Invincible, Little Mermaid, Muppets Most Wanted, Princess and the Frog, Tangled: Queen for a Day, and/or That’s So Raven Make Over: Madness.

We want families to read together so all ages can participate! More mature readers can choose from bags marked as PG-13 & R movies. They may have a combination of the following:

Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl, Pirates of the Carribean: Stranger Tides, Prince of Persia, Star Wars The Force Awakens, Sorceror’s Apprentice Queen of Katwe, Father of the Bride 2, The Program, Pirates of the Carribean At World’s End, Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl, Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man’s Chest, National Treasure, Glory Road, and/ or, Princess Diaries.
