Wilson has represented South Carolina’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Floyd Spence in 2001. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the South Carolina Senate from 1985 to 2001. Born in Charleston in 1947 and currently residing in Springdale at age 75, Wilson holds degrees from Washington and Lee University (BA) and the University of South Carolina (JD).
