Joe Wilson, U.S. Congressman representing South Carolina’s 2nd district since 2001, posted several statements on social media addressing recent events of national and international significance.
On January 24, 2026, Wilson expressed appreciation for federal support in response to an impending ice storm affecting the Carolinas. On the same day, Wilson addressed developments concerning Russia’s military presence in Syria.
