Former Midland Valley High School basketball standout Desmond Evans and the Lander Bearcats claimed an 86-62 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne in the NCAA Division II Tournament on Tuesday, March 17.
The matchup was held at the Abney Athletic Center, tipping off at 7 p.m.
Lander’s next contest is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, at 8:30 p.m. at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
